Job summary

Trescal is seeking a Calibration Technician - Level 3 to perform calibrations on medium to high level test and measurement equipment and assist in lab duties. The role requires problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Applicants should have Military PMEL or TMDE training or an Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent, and 3–5 years of calibration experience. We offer health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Military PMEL or TMDE training or an Associates Degree in Electronics, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of calibration experience with test & measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of medium to high level test and measurement equipment with minimal supervision.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely turn-around on all equipment and service.
• Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content and accuracy.
• Develop calibration procedures to meet customer needs while ensuring traceability.
• Maintain technical proficiency through self-study and training.
• Coordinate and lead field calibration and maintenance activities.
• Identify and communicate potential sales leads when appropriate.
• Support general laboratory operations efficiently.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment is performed on schedule.
• Perform daily inspections of incoming equipment and verify accessories and manuals.
