The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) in South Australia is seeking a Senior Cabinet Officer within Cabinet Office to provide policy advice, coordination services and support the preparation of Cabinet papers across the executive arm. You will help drive Cabinet processes and ensure high‑quality documentation for decision‑making.

The role supports staff in the Premier's Office, Ministerial Offices and state agencies, with occasional out‑of‑hours work and interstate travel.

About the Business - Cabinet Office

Cabinet Office provides policy advice and coordination services to support core executive government functions, including Cabinet, Executive Council and Cabinet Committees. It supports the policy priorities of the Premier as the Chair of Cabinet. Cabinet Office also provides advice on government boards

The Senior Cabinet Officer provides advice and support to staff in the Premier's Office, Ministerial Offices and across all state government agencies on Cabinet processes and the preparation of documents for Cabinet.

Special Conditions

The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.

The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.

Some work outside of normal hours will be required.

Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.

This role requires a National Criminal History check.
