Job summary

Talenza is seeking an experienced CA Datacom Database Administrator for a migration and support engagement with a major banking organisation in New Zealand. The role requires ownership, independence and sound judgement in a complex IBM mainframe Datacom environment.

You will contribute to the migration and support ongoing operations across reliability, performance and stability, with responsibilities covering migration planning, hands-on administration, issue resolution, and clear communication

Qualifications

• 10-15 years' experience as a CA Datacom DBA.
• Strong practical knowledge of Datacom administration within IBM mainframe environments.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, preparation and execution of database migration activities.

Bring your specialist CA Datacom expertise to a migration and support engagement for a major banking organisation in New Zealand.

We're looking for an experienced CA Datacom Database Administrator who can take ownership, work independently and bring sound technical judgement to a complex mainframe environment.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys solving database challenges and has the depth of experience to deliver with limited day-to-day technical support.

You'll contribute to the Datacom migration while supporting the reliability, performance and ongoing operation of the database environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning, preparation and execution of database migration activities.
