Dodgshun Medlin is seeking an experienced CA Datacom/DB DBA to support a complex enterprise mainframe environment. The role focuses on risk mitigation, specialist guidance, and contingency support across the Datacom stack.

The engagement runs from November 2026 through July 2027, with the option to work remotely from Australia or New Zealand. You will lead migration activities, tune performance, and provide expert technical recommendations.

• PL/I and its interaction with Datacom/DB
• Supporting complex, business-critical legacy environments
• Large enterprise or banking/financial services environments

About You

You will be a highly experienced mainframe database specialist who is comfortable operating as a trusted technical expert and contingency resource, rather than solely in a traditional day-to-day DBA capacity.

You will be able to quickly understand complex legacy environments, troubleshoot critical issues and provide clear technical guidance when required.
