Private Advertiser in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Business Services Accountant to deliver accounting and taxation services for a quality client base across varied industries. You will assist with tax planning and advisory work while developing technical capabilities in a supportive CA-study environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting or related degree with CA completed or in progress.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation and reporting.
• Experience with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency may be required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.
• Complete BAS/IAS, FBT and payroll tax returns using Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Assist with tax planning and advise clients on financial and non-financial performance.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional services.
• Mentor colleagues and share technical knowledge across the team.

The role
