Senior Business Improvement Analyst

Acting as an internal consultancy, we provide data-driven advice on business improvement opportunities. We strive to deliver positive improvements to the customer and community.

About the role

As the Senior Business Improvement Analyst, you will play a key role within the Business Improvement Team to drive and embed business excellence principles and practices and facilitate business improvement across Bayside. As a senior team member you will spearhead projects, offer expert advice to the organisation, and play a pivotal role as a mentor to junior colleagues, fostering their growth and development. You also can expect to:

  • Work closely with the functional process owners and subject matter experts to assess the current state of a range of key processes, review and modify where required and ensure consistency of process content, format and presentation.
  • Facilitate planning and design workshop sessions with the functional process owners to gather business requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the change management approach for a project and provide input towards communication assets that may be developed to support a change.
  • Work with and mentor staff on business improvement and project management methodologies
About you

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • Significant experience in a continuous improvement role with application of business excellence practices.
  • Proven ability to analyse information to identify problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal/ stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to present performance results to all levels of management and staff with high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse all forms of information and develop KPI’s to measure future performance.
  • Significant knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and Visio.
