Senior Business Development Manager - FX
Sokin's Australian business development team is growing. We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our core FX team and help drive our continued growth. You will target enterprise-level clients, manage your pipeline, and build relationships with some of the world's biggest companies.

Role & Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Growth: Develop and implement a strategic plan to acquire new clients, increase revenue, and expand market share. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Lead initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business development activities and monitor performance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in business development within remittance or financial services, with a proven track record of meeting targets.
- RG146 certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of remittance market dynamics, compliance, and industry trends.
- Experience in building pipelines and converting connections into business.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with stakeholders via various communication channels.
- Experience in FinTech or startup environments in payments/remittance is preferred but not essential.
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and team-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
