Job summary

Australian Retirement Trust in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Digital to lead discovery and business analysis across complex digital transformation. You will translate strategy into customer-centred, commercially sound solutions and partner with stakeholders across business, technology and vendor teams.

You will shape customer journeys, service designs and requirements while ensuring alignment to the digital vision and benefits.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading business analysis and discovery for complex digital transformation.
• Stakeholder engagement skills to influence senior leaders, tech teams and partners.
• Strong commercial acumen to assess options, benefits and trade-offs.
• Experience mapping customer journeys, service design and digital requirements.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles in digital services.

Take hold of a monster opportunity and join ART as our Senior Business Analyst - Digital. You'll play a pivotal new role in shaping ART Life's digital future, leading discovery, business design and solution development that transforms customer experiences and delivers meaningful member outcomes.

You'll partner with stakeholders across business, technology and vendor teams to shape digital products, improve customer journeys and support ART Life's digital transformation agenda.

You'll provide leadership across analysis activities, facilitate informed decision-making, and ensure solutions remain aligned to the digital vision, target operating model and intended benefits. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll help create clarity, build trust across teams and champion simpler, better ways of working.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities
Day to day, you'll:

• Lead end-to-end discovery and business analysis activities across complex digital transformation from concept through to implementation.
• Facilitate workshops that bring stakeholders together to define requirements, challenge assumptions and drive clear decisions.
• Develop customer journeys, service blueprints, process models and business requirements to support future-state design.
• Evaluate business value, risks, dependencies and trade-offs to support prioritisation and investment decisions.
• Partner with design, technology and business teams to deliver customer-centred digital solutions
• Provide leadership, coaching and quality assurance across analysis activities while building capability within the digital function.

Qualifications

• You have extensive experience leading business analysis and discovery for complex digital transformation, product or platform initiatives.
• Your stakeholder engagement skills enable you to influence senior leaders, technology teams and external partners.
• You'll bring strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess options, benefits and trade-offs.
• You're experienced in customer journey mapping, service design, process redesign and digital requirements.
• You have working knowledge of UX and UI principles and their application to digital services.
• Your experience includes agile, iterative or hybrid delivery approaches and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• You'll communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly and confidently.
• You're likely to be experienced in financial services or substantially experienced in other highly regulated environments.
