Job summary

Woolworths Group in Australia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst within the Customer Comms, AI Optimisation squad to bridge business objectives and technical delivery. You will lead end-to-end requirements, drive automation, and support agile delivery across campaigns and systems.

You will partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams, mentor junior BAs, and promote best practices in agile methodologies while keeping customer experience at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in retail, e-commerce, or marketing tech.
• Strong expertise in platform automation and data flows; familiarity with AI-powered tools.
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Confluence and mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements by eliciting, analyzing, and translating complex business needs into epics and user stories.
• Analyse workflows (campaigns, production) to identify bottlenecks and implement automation-led solutions.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to guide reviews and drive AI initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor across departments, facilitating workshops and communicating scope clearly.
• Support governance by tracking progress, risks, and ensuring compliant delivery.
• Mentor junior BAs and promote best practices in agile frameworks and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across teams to design robust solutions and produce technical docs and diagrams.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet high quality standards and enhance customer experience.
