Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Construction Verification Buildings Surveillance Officer to support delivery of a major tunnel infrastructure program in Adelaide on a rolling 12-month contract. The role focuses on verification and surveillance of building-related works for tunnel operations, including maintenance, substations, and internal tunnel structures.

As CV Surveillance Officer, you will monitor construction activities, file surveillance records, verify NCR dispositions, and ensure safety

Qualifications

Trade or technical qualification in a relevant construction discipline.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in building construction structures within road, tunnelling, or major infrastructure projects.
Experience with industrial or commercial building construction.
Experience in South Australia and/or tunnel projects.

Responsibilities

Monitor surveillance activities and ensure completion of planned tasks.
File detailed surveillance records with photographic evidence and inform CV Zone Lead.
Verify NCR dispositions have been implemented on site.
Monitor WHS and environmental compliance.
Liaise with Builder’s site representatives.
Identify and resolve non-conformances.
Attend Hold Points and Witness Points.
Support CV Construction Lead and CV Engineers.
