Job summary

A W Edwards is a renowned Australian builder with over 105 years of experience, now seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer/Coordinator to lead mechanical or electrical packages on a major data centre project in Huntingwood, Sydney. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings and close collaboration with Tier 1 sub-contractors and other service trades.

You will join a team focused on delivering high-quality design and construction with strong training and development.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years’ experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Experience on large projects (ideally data centres).
• Extensive experience with Elec or Mech services on projects >$200-300m.
• Ability to motivate and mentor those around you.
• Experience with Building Services sub-contractors or main contractors at intermediate level and steady tenure.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings for mechanical or electrical packages.
• Manage Tier 1 Services Sub-contractors and other service trades.
• Work with the Services Manager and attend meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support progression toward Building Services Manager through training and development.
