Solution Accountants is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to handle bookkeeping for small business clients with a focus on reconciliations, payroll, and GST compliance. This role supports regular client communication, in-person, phone, or online, while maintaining accurate records and timely delivery of tasks.

With at least 5 years in Australian bookkeeping and strong Xero knowledge, you will guide colleagues, meet deadlines, and contribute to process improvements in a flexible work arrangement

Formación

• At least 5 years' experience in Australian bookkeeping within a public practice accounting firm.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and other cloud-based accounting systems.
• Experience preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, payroll, GST, and STP obligations.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Complete bookkeeping work including reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and day-to-day financial management.
• Build client relationships through regular communication, whether in person, by phone, or online.
• Coordinate with colleagues, follow up outstanding information, and help meet agreed deadlines.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS and assist clients with GST and payroll compliance obligations.
• Support and mentor team members and identify practical process improvements.
• Maintain clear records by keeping client notes, records, and workflow tasks accurate and up to date.
