Job summary

Gatehouse Container Modifications Pty Ltd in Acacia Ridge, QLD, is seeking a highly experienced boilermaker for permanent, full-time and casual roles. You will layout, fabricate and weld container modifications, read drawings, and contribute to project delivery across cafes, kitchens and transport boxes.

The role demands a trade-qualified boilermaker with MIG welding expertise, sound maths, strong safety practices and the ability to work autonomously in a small team.

Qualifications

Must have 10 years minimum experience as a boilermaker.
Trade qualification as boilermaker is required (Cert 4 & above preferred).
Proficient reading and interpreting technical drawings.
MIG welding proficiency and related techniques.
Experience with steel framing and container modification is desirable.
Ability to work autonomously and take accountability in a small team.
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Fabrication of metal parts to drawings.
Cutting containers to specified drawings.
Assist with container fit-out; training provided.
Read and interpret drawings.
Work safely and follow instructions.
