Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior BMS Service Technician to maintain and repair building management systems in commercial and industrial facilities. You will work across our Defence portfolio and other locations, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.

The role requires proven BMS/HVAC experience, technical certifications, and strong IT/networking skills. A valid driver's license and Defence security clearance eligibility are expected, with access to company vehicles and tech tools.

Qualifications

• HVAC/building automation certifications are required.
• Proven BMS or HVAC service experience with fault diagnosis.
• Strong IT/networking knowledge and Microsoft 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on BMS equipment and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in BMS components and systems.
• Work with complex IT networks and systems integration.
• Quote and implement system upgrades and modifications as required.
• Provide technical support and training to facility managers and occupants.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure effective service delivery.
• Close out works within client portals.
