Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead the sourcing, review and submission of bids for contracts and opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure bids are technically sound, commercially viable and aligned to customer requirements, working with Sales, Product Marketing, Applications and Engineering.

You will coordinate internal and external bids, prepare costings, and support CRM pipelines while driving profitable outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates with engineering, contracts, bid management, estimating, quotations, tendering or sales experience.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for quotations and costings.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop viable bid solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet with consultants, customers and stakeholders to assess requirements and provide bid support.
• Coordinate bids internally and with Sales and Service teams to drive ANZ growth.
• Select, configure, price and quote solutions meeting customer specs and financial targets.
• Prepare detailed costings and tender documentation for successful bids.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver technical and commercial bid outcomes.
• Source, review and submit technical bids on time with professional customer communication.
• Support Salesforce CRM pipeline and timely order handover of won bids.
• Strengthen commercial review processes to ensure bids are viable and competitive.
• Promote Xylem’s products to engineering consultancies involved in water/wastewater projects.
• Contribute to pricing, forecasting and knowledge-sharing to improve bid processes.
