Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead bids, quotes and responses to technical enquiries across Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure bids are commercially viable, technically sound and aligned with customer requirements, while delivering a professional experience.

You'll work with Sales, Product Marketing, Applications and Engineering to develop solutions across Xylem products, manage costings and tender documentation, and support ongoing business growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, bid management or tendering in an engineering environment.
• Strong mathematical ability and experience preparing quotes and estimates.
• Comfort with contract terms, pricing and commercial reviews.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical and commercial bid solutions.

Responsibilities

• Meet with consultants and customers to assess requirements and provide bid support.
• Coordinate bids internally and with external partners to drive ANZ growth.
• Select, configure, price and quote solutions meeting customer specs.
• Prepare detailed costings and tender documentation for successful bids.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver technical and commercial bids.
• Submit bids on time and manage CRM pipeline for opportunities.
