Industry Beans is seeking an experienced Part Time Senior Barista to lead our Fitzroy venue team. You’ll work closely with the Head Barista to deliver outstanding customer experiences and premium coffee.

You’ll develop and train a passionate team, manage the coffee program with the roastery, implement recipes, maintain standards, and ensure high visual merchandising. Great latte art, strong communication, and availability for 4 days a week including weekends and public holidays are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years' experience as a Senior Barista in specialty coffee.
• Experience developing and managing a team to deliver high-quality, consistent specialty coffee.
• Strong latte art skills and the ability to train others.
• Experience working on a variety of machines and brewing styles.

• Manage the coffee program including liaising with the Industry Beans roastery.

• Lead the team during shifts organizing breaks, approving timesheets etc.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Part Time Senior Barista to lead the team at our Fitzroy venue. The right person will be experienced and passionate with a strong work ethic and the ability to work closely with the Head Barista to lead a barista team to deliver the ultimate customer experience.

• Delivering an outstanding hospitality experience with both barista craftsmanship and customer engagement

You’ll be perfect for this role if you have:

• A customer focused approach to specialty coffee
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Senior Barista in specialty coffee
• Strong experience developing and managing a team to deliver high-quality, consistent specialty coffee
• Experience working on a variety of different machines and different brewing styles
• A strong understanding of extraction profiling and implementing recipesGreat latte art skills and the ability to train others
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Clear and effective communication
• Available 4 days a week, including weekend, public holiday and summer season.
