Job summary

Healthengine is seeking a skilled Integrations Engineer in a hybrid role, central to transforming healthcare experiences by enabling secure data transfers between patients and providers. You will work with product teams to surface data and integration events, collaborate with partner engineers to build robust integrations, and ensure uptime and security for Healthengine's platforms.

• Experience integrating third-party services via APIs or direct database connections.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
• Comfortable working across multiple codebases and learning new languages/frameworks (PHP, C++/Qt).
• Proven ability to debug complex issues within internal systems and isolate faults in third-party platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MSSQL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to expose data and integration events for high-quality products.

The Gig

This role will be at the heart of transforming healthcare experiences by ensuring the seamless, secure transfer of information between patients and providers. Healthengine's software integrations team works magic with third party APIs and bespoke data connections to ensure that Healthengine's products work for practices and patients, instead of giving them more work.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product teams to ensure that the right data and integration events are made available to create high-quality products.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams at partner organizations to design, build, and maintain robust, high-quality system integrations.
• Deep dive into data to help drive high-quality decision making.
• Work with Healthengine's support team to ensure uptime for integrated practices.
• Create and monitor high-quality logging and alerts to maintain high confidence in the state of practice integrations.
• Care and commitment to information security practices to protect Healthengine and its customers

Experience you’ll bring:

• Ability to integrate third-party services via APIs or direct database connections.
• Demonstrated experience working in highly agile work environment is considered critical to the individual's ability to adapt to our changing customer needs and our culture
• Comfortable working across multiple distinct codebases and picking up new languages or frameworks as needed, we primarily work in PHP and C++(qt).
• Proven ability to debug complex issues within internal systems and effectively isolate faults in integrated third-party platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MSSQL
• Comfortable with radical candour culture
