Job summary

NTT DATA is modernising core platforms for Managed Services with an Azure-first, multi-cloud approach. We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer who will shape architecture, guardrails, and automation across teams in a hands-on senior role.

This position focuses on platform design, reusable patterns, and self-service capabilities to enable rapid, secure delivery at scale in a hybrid APAC environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building and operating Azure platforms at scale.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and platform automation.
• CI/CD with Git-based workflows and automation.
• Security, governance, and cost controls embedded as code.
• Observability, reliability engineering and disaster recovery practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of an Azure-first, multi-cloud platform.
• Design and modernize platform foundations including landing zones, networking, identity and security.
• Define reusable patterns, guardrails and golden paths for engineering teams.
• Develop self-service capabilities to accelerate delivery and reduce tickets.
• Drive IaC and CI/CD direction across teams with a focus on automation.
