Job summary

BLACKROC invites applications for a Senior ICT Technical Officer to support a large Microsoft Windows and Linux environment in Brisbane. The role focuses on building and automating Azure-based and hybrid infrastructure, leading incident resolution, and enhancing service reliability.

The successful candidate will manage Azure DevOps pipelines, patch management, backups, and identity services, while coordinating with staff and stakeholders to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Azure-based and hybrid infrastructure.
• Windows Server environments with Linux experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and support Azure-based and hybrid infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure and tasks using PowerShell, JSON and Bicep.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure and automation.
• Manage virtual environments across Azure and VMware.
• Implement automated patching for Windows and Linux via SCCM or Azure Update Manager.
• Manage backup/recovery with Azure Recovery Services Vaults and Veeam.
• Monitor systems using Azure Monitor and respond to alerts.
• Administer Active Directory and identity-integrated services.
• Lead incident and problem resolution with focus on automation and reliability.
• Provide expert advice to staff and stakeholders.
