Job summary

Tennis Australia is seeking a Senior Data Engineer- Data Bricks to join our Technology team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will design and deliver scalable data integration, analytics and reporting solutions across the data platform, taking ownership of ingestion and processing while evolving our architecture.

You will work hands‑on with Azure Databricks, ADF, and ADLS, building data models and pipelines, collaborating with engineers, analysts and stakeholders to ensure data quality and

Qualifications

• Senior-level data engineering capability delivering enterprise-grade data/BI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data tech (Databricks, ADF, DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to design scalable analytical data solutions incl. data warehouses/lakehouse.
• Advanced SQL, Python, PySpark with focus on performance and data quality.
• Balance project delivery with BAU/support; resolve data issues in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve data engineering solutions on Azure Databricks, ADF, and ADLS.
• Develop and maintain reliable, secure data pipelines.
• Build robust data transformations using PySpark, SQL, Python.
• Create curated analytical and dimensional data models for TA BI/analytics.
• Manage ingestion and onboarding of new data sources and partners.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance in production.
