Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Cloud Integration Engineer (Azure & D365) to design, build, and support secure, scalable integration solutions across enterprise platforms. The role blends hands-on development with architectural thinking across APIs, messaging, workflows and cloud-native services.

You will help deliver reliable integrations between business systems and support D365 integrations and related applications, collaborating with architects, analysts and developers to achieve

Qualifications

• Significant years of experience developing cloud integrations, backend services or enterprise applications.
• Strong software engineering skills using modern development frameworks and languages.
• Experience with serverless computing platforms, enterprise messaging technologies, API gateways and API management.
• Workflow automation platforms and relational databases with SQL development.
• Strong SQL skills including stored procedures, transaction management and performance tuning.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM or similar).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity management, RBAC and secret management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cloud-based integration services and APIs.
• Build end-to-end workflows using serverless technologies, messaging platforms and orchestration tools.
• Develop reliable integration solutions with retries, recovery, idempotency and fault-tolerant design patterns.
• Publish, secure and monitor APIs using modern identity and authentication standards.
• Develop and optimise SQL databases, stored procedures and transactional processes.
• Deliver solutions through CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, integration failures and transaction processing issues.
• Troubleshoot and support integrations with enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Contribute to integration architecture, technical documentation, design reviews and runbooks.
• Partner with architects, analysts, developers and consultants to deliver quality outcomes.
