Job summary

MultiTek Solutions in Geelong is seeking a Senior Audio Visual Installation Technician to lead medium to large AV installation projects and support the on-site team.

You will supervise installers, read block diagrams and cabling drawings, and coordinate with other trades to ensure high-quality, on-time deliveries.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving, and the ability to train junior staff while ensuring safety and quality standards on every site.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing medium to large installation projects.
• Ability to lead installation teams and coordinate with on-site trades.
• Proficiency in reading block diagrams and cabling drawings.
• Advanced cabling, termination, equipment mounting, and rigging skills.
• Experience with system commissioning and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large installation projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Oversee and manage installation staff and laborers.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and apprentices.
• Coordinate with other trades on site for seamless integration.
• Produce AV drawings and installation test plans.
• Commission systems and support commissioning processes.
• Ensure safety and adherence to OH&S on site.
