Job summary

The role emphasises genuine automotive experience, brand training and the ability to work across European, luxury, Japanese, Korean and EV brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant automotive technician experience.
• Demonstrable dealership or OEM workshop background.
• Relevant automotive trade qualification.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic capabilities.
• Documented and verifiable employment history.
• Brand-specific training or certifications where applicable.
• Advanced diagnostic experience is highly regarded.
• ECU programming experience is advantageous.
• EV, hybrid or high-voltage vehicle experience is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• TRASkills Assessment completed.
• English language test completed.
• Ability to provide evidence supporting qualifications and experience.
• Genuine readiness to relocate to Australia.

Responsibilities

• Completes servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to professional standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
• Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and systems.
• Carry out inspections and identify vehicle issues.
• Perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Work with advanced vehicle electronics and diagnostics.
• Service and repair hybrid, EV and high-voltage systems where qualified.
• Maintain repair, inspection and service documentation.
• Apply safe workshop practices across all tasks.
• Collaborate with workshop teams and technicians.
• Maintain high workmanship and repair quality.
• Apply brand-specific knowledge to relevant vehicles.
