Job summary

Origin is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer on a 6‑month contract to own and enhance our Node-RED automation platform. You will design automation flows, integrate APIs, and help set delivery standards across the business.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure reliable, user‑friendly automations and contribute to governance, dashboards, and reusable templates. Flexible, hybrid work arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in automation, RPA or workflow orchestration with platform ownership.
• Hands-on experience with Node-RED in a production environment.
• Strong API integration experience including secure connections and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Node-RED automation platform, including standards, governance and delivery practices
• Design, build and maintain automation flows across systems and business processes
• Lead API integrations, including authentication, data mapping and error handling
• Build simple dashboards and reusable templates to support technical and non-technical users
• Monitor critical automations, troubleshoot issues and support other developers or vendor partners
