Job summary

VGW is an interactive entertainment company delivering world-class, free-to-play online social games from Perth. We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to architect internal orchestration engines and convert manual IT processes into automated, zero-touch pipelines.

You will design robust integration frameworks using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS, Lambdas), drive zero-touch provisioning, and build reusable assets to empower teams to scale safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Experience converting manual workflows into automated pipelines and integration frameworks.
Strong background in event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
Proficient in REST and SOAP APIs and secret management tools.
Deep knowledge of identity management and zero-touch provisioning across core apps.
Solid software engineering foundation with hands-on implementation skills.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain durable, automated workflows across IT and core business functions.
Design robust integration frameworks using APIs and event-driven architectures.
