Job summary

RAC Auto Services is seeking a Senior Auto Technician for our Canning Vale Service Centre. You will service and repair light vehicles, perform diagnostics, and mentor apprentices within a collaborative, safety-focused team.

You’ll step up as 2IC to support the Team Leader, enjoy stability with nine-day fortnights, and access comprehensive benefits, tool allowances, training in next-gen vehicle technology, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician with post-apprenticeship/trade certification.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence; MV repair licence desirable.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a variety of light vehicles in your own dedicated workspace.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, documenting progress and outcomes.
• Mentor apprentices and fellow technicians, contributing to a skilled and collaborative team.
• Step up as a Second-in-Charge (2IC) to support your Team Leader when needed.
• Handle breakdowns on vehicles brought into the centre, sharpening your problem-solving skills.
