Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a Senior Auditor to strengthen risk management across our complex financial services environment. You will lead risk-based audits, use data analytics and emerging AI capabilities to enhance audit outcomes, and work with stakeholders to drive improvements.

You will collaborate with business leaders, apply analytics to improve coverage, and contribute to evolving audit methodologies while maintaining high-quality reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
• Proven experience across Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Assurance or Compliance within a complex financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of the Australian financial services regulatory landscape, including ASIC and APRA requirements.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and assessing business risks, controls and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and deliver high-quality risk-based audits in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare clear, insightful audit reports and recommendations for management.
• Complete issue closure verification and ensure agreed actions have been effectively addressed.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and emerging risks.
• Provide practical insights and influence stakeholders to strengthen risk management and internal controls.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to improve audit coverage, efficiency and insights.
• Support the development and use of AI within Internal Audit, including approaches to auditing AI governance and ethical use.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of audit processes, methodologies and ways of working.
• Support the delivery of Group Internal Audit strategic priorities.
• Promote a strong and resilient risk and compliance culture across the organisation.
