Job summary

UHY Haines Norton in Sydney is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our Audit & Assurance division. This permanent full-time role offers immediate commencement and exposure to a diverse client base across industries.

You will bring a minimum of 5 years' external audit experience in an Australian CA/CPA firm, complete CA or CPA, and demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills to deliver high-quality audits and foster client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' external audit experience in an Australian Chartered Accounting or CPA firm.
• Completion of the CA or CPA qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client relationships and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes; and

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Partners and Managers to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services.
• Planning, coordinating and completing audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
• Participating in corporate finance engagements, including due diligence assignments, business valuations and IPO listings.
• Identifying opportunities to improve clients’ systems, controls and business performance.
• Preparing general purpose and special purpose financial reports.
• Drafting management letters and audit completion reports.
• Managing engagement budgets and timelines.
• Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members; and
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
