Job summary

Prosperity People Solutions Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC is seeking an experienced auditor to take ownership of engagements within a global top-tier audit practice. You will manage day-to-day audits across ASX-listed, private equity-backed, family-owned, and not-for-profit clients, guiding junior staff and collaborating with Managers and Partners.

You’ll lead planning through reporting, work across sectors, and act as a trusted contact for client finance teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' external audit experience.
• CA, CPA or ACCA qualified, or close to completing.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience across full audit cycle with listed, private and SME clients.

Responsibilities

• Running external audit engagements from planning through to reporting.
• Auditing clients across sectors including financial services, property and construction, manufacturing, retail, technology and healthcare.
• Identifying key audit risks and ensuring compliance with Australian Auditing Standards.
• Reviewing junior staff work and presenting findings to clients and engagement leaders.
• Serving as day-to-day contact for clients’ finance teams, including founders and owners in family and SME businesses.
• Coaching and supporting junior team members.
