Reporting to the Branded Content Product & Strategy Director, you will operate with high autonomy to own the day-to-day audio product strategy, analysis, productisation, and delivery of agreed priorities, while acting as the key product liaison with external audio partners.

About the role:

Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for podcast product growth and innovation, considering podcast's changing role in the broader content/publisher ecosystem.

Partner with the Branded Content Product & Strategy Director on the audio ad and content offering, translating overall audio strategy into prioritised roadmaps, initiatives, and delivery plans.

Own end-to-end audio product lifecycles, spanning from discovery and development through to launch, optimisation, and ongoing portfolio management, ensuring these dovetail with the broader branded content suite product roadmap and initiatives.

Develop and maintain product documentation, specifications, commercial frameworks, and supporting materials.

Analyse audience, inventory, revenue, and product-performance data to identify opportunities, inform decisions, and measure success.

Lead ongoing product and operational optimisation across audio content and advertising products, including inventory, ad settings and load, production workflows, distribution, monetisation, and campaign delivery.

Prepare regular performance reporting and decision-ready recommendations, alongside sales-enablement materials, pricing tools, and commercial frameworks.

Act as a subject matter expert on audio products, providing advice and consultation to internal stakeholders.

Act as the key product liaison with external audio partners alongside the Commercial Partnerships Director & Branded Content GM to support product requirements, forecasting inputs, productisation, integrations, and operational delivery.

Collaborate across Sales, Editorial, Ad Operations, Finance, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, and other relevant teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver agreed outcomes.

Who are you?

You have 5+ years of commercial audio experience, with direct experience in podcasting and/or digital audio being essential.

You have proven experience developing, launching, optimising, and commercialising successful audio content and advertising products.

You possess strong commercial and analytical capability, including experience working with audience, inventory, revenue, and performance data.

You have a strong understanding of digital audio formats, distribution, monetisation, audience measurement, advertising models, and platform dynamics.

You bring strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, alongside experience working across cross-functional teams and external partners.

You ideally have knowledge of emerging trends across podcasting, vodcasting, digital audio, creator-led content, and evolving monetisation models.

You ideally possess experience with audio measurement, analytics, publishing, and advertising platforms, such as Triton, Megaphone, or similar.

You ideally have experience across other content formats, with a clear understanding of how audio fits within broader cross-platform content and commercial ecosystems.
