Aitken Partners is a well-established Melbourne law firm seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Wills & Estates team. Working alongside an Accredited Specialist and senior practitioners, you will advise on a broad range of matters including estate litigation, guardianship and administration applications.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years' post-admission experience with substantial estate litigation exposure.
• Ability to manage files and client relationships autonomously.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• Commitment to exceptional client service.
• Existing referral network (advantageous but not essential).

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Wills & Estates team.

Working alongside an Accredited Specialist and experienced practitioners, you will advise on a broad range of matters, including:

• Estate litigation and family provision claims
• VCAT guardianship and administration applications
• Complex estate administration and some succession planning matters
  

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise within a collaborative team known for its technical excellence and client-focused approach.

About You

You are a motivated and capable lawyer with a genuine interest in Wills & Estates law and a commitment to building a long-term career in the area.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• At least 7 years' post-admission experience, including substantial estate litigation exposure
• The ability to manage files and client relationships with a high level of autonomy
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset

• An existing referral network (advantageous but not essential)
