Job summary

Netflix Animation Studios is seeking an Associate Technical Supervisor to support the technical vision on an animated feature film, collaborating with the Technical Supervisor and leadership to evolve pipeline tools and workflows. You will oversee technical direction for multiple stages of the production pipeline, including Front End, Performance, and Back End areas.

You will mentor TDs, provide day-to-day technical guidance, and help ensure tools meet creative and technical requirements while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pipeline TD experience in animated features or VFX.
• Strong Python skills and GUI toolkit experience.
• Experience with Flow/ShotGrid or similar production tracking software.
• Familiarity with git/GitHub and Jira; Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand the film’s visual goals and design tools and workflows for artists.
• Troubleshoot and optimize production workflows with practical solutions.
• Test and validate new tools and pipeline changes and track issues.
• Contribute to building and improving the show and studio-wide pipeline.
