Job summary

DoorDash ANZ is seeking a Senior Associate on the New Verticals S&O team to drive initiatives across Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Health and Retail. You will support Enterprise accounts, collaborate with partnerships, product, engineering, finance and analytics.

This hybrid role (three days in the office, two remote) offers opportunities to shape strategy, build dashboards, run experiments, and help launch scalable processes to improve delivery quality and reduce costs.

About the Team

The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce by expanding DoorDash’s product offerings across Australia and New Zealand. This role sits within Drive, one of DoorDash’s fastest-growing businesses and a key strategic pillar for the company.

The Drive team is responsible for the operations, development, and growth of Drive’s product suite which is our white-label solution that enables merchants to offer on-demand delivery directly through their own channels, powered by DoorDash’s logistics network.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate on the ANZ International New Verticals S&O team, you’ll focus on supporting key functions within our Drive business across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Health and Retail verticals. In this role, you’ll plan and execute strategic and operational initiatives for our largest Enterprise accounts, working with a wide array of cross-functional teams like partnerships, product, engineering, finance, and analytics.

You will report into Associate Manager - Drive Lead, ANZ New Verticals.

This is a hybrid role, with three days a week in the office and two days remote.

• Strategise – From first principles, you’ll design vertical and account strategy for the ANZ New Verticals business—balancing growth with sustainable cost structures.
• Operate – Own tracking dashboards and manage week-over-week metrics for the various accounts you’ve been assigned to. You’ll identify drivers of trends and develop plans to improve results.
• Analyse – Build models using Google Sheets and SQL to evaluate the economic, operational, and strategic impact of different initiatives—helping shape data-driven decisions that balance business costs with merchant delivery quality.
• Experiment and Execute – Turn strategy into action by designing and running operational experiments that test growth, cost and quality levers—delivering measurable outcomes.
• Build – Be a foundational part of DoorDash’s next big business. You’ll help launch new products and processes that drive down costs, optimize efficiency, raise quality standards, and scale something completely new—from vision to execution.
• Influence – Work cross-functionally with teams across platform operations, finance, partnerships, product and engineering to build and scale our New Verticals business—shaping how we deliver exceptional quality for our Merchants’ owned channels.
