HWL Ebsworth Lawyers Pty Ltd. in Melbourne seeks a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Workplace Relations & Safety team. You will work with Partners on high‑quality industrial relations, safety investigations, and employment matters for diverse corporate clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PAE in employment law or related area.
• Experience running contentious and/or non-contentious employment matters including safety, enterprise bargaining, investigations, and advisory work.
• Strong understanding of workplace relations, industrial relations and safety law with cross‑border/commercial exposure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and eye for detail.
• For senior candidates, mentoring junior lawyers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on industrial relations, workplace safety, investigations, and employment law for corporate clients.
• Mentor junior lawyers and manage matters from intake to resolution.
