This is a great opportunity for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join one of Melbourne’s leading Health Law teams, specialising in the defence of hospitals and doctors in negligence claims and disciplinary matters.

Compared to the other Health Law practices in Melbourne, the main differences here are the truly interesting matters and the far nicer work-life balance.

This team holds the lion’s share of claims for doctors in Victoria, meaning you’ll have access to a steady stream of high-quality, complex matters. As one of the most senior practitioners in the practice, you’ll have your pick of the most interesting files, with ownership and autonomy to run those matters as you see fit.

The Partner is committed to a genuine work-life-balance, describing this as 'not just a nice concept: I don’t see anyone here ever beyond 5-5:30pm. We all have lives outside of work, and my mantra is If you meet your key accountabilities, you can manage yourself.”
