Job summary

Moray & Agnew in Perth is seeking a Senior Associate / Special Counsel to join our high-performing practice, with opportunities across multiple groups. You will handle complex matters, enjoy autonomy over your files, and contribute to the growth of the team.

You bring at least 5 years PAE in personal injury, government, or admin law, strong client relationships, and proven leadership. The role offers exposure to major insurers, agencies, and a national platform.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Associate / Special Counsel to join our leading Perth practice.

Our Perth office has multiple practice groups such as defendant workers’ compensation and government/administrative law. In this role, you will join one of these teams, based on your experience and interests.

Within our workers’ compensation practice, you will advise and represent insurer and employer clients on a range of matters, including representing their interests at WorkCover WA and in District and Supreme Court litigation.

Alternatively, within our government and administrative law practice, you will act for Commonwealth departments and agencies on public law matters, including those arising under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), with exposure to merits review proceedings and matters in the Administrative Review Tribunal and Federal Court.

This is an opportunity to take on a senior position within a high performing team, with strong client exposure, autonomy over your matters, and the ability to contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.

About you

You are an experienced practitioner with an interest in the personal injury space (either Plaintiff or Defendant) or government or administrative law, with a least 5 years PAE.

You bring:
