Harwell Consulting in Brisbane seeks a Senior Associate for its property team. The role offers broad exposure across acquisitions, disposals, development and leasing, with a focus on mentoring juniors and managing client relationships.

The successful candidate will bring 5–10 years' PAE in commercial property, a broad transactional background from a mid-tier or top-tier firm, and strong matter management skills to deliver busy, diverse matters.

I'm partnering with an upper mid-tier national commercial firm to find a Senior Associate for their Brisbane property team. It's a close-knit group led by experienced partners in a stable, established team.

About the role

This is a genuine generalist commercial property role. You'll run a broad mix of work, including:

• acquisitions and disposals of commercial, retail and industrial property
• property development, including off-the-plan sales for commercial, residential and mixed-use projects
• complex commercial office, industrial and retail leasing as part of a broader practice
• subdivisions and land titling
• supervising and developing junior lawyers and graduates

Clients include property trusts, financial institutions, not-for-profits and high net worth individuals.

About you

• 5–10 years' PAE in commercial property
• A broad transactional background, from a mid-tier or top-tier firm
• Comfortable running files independently and managing client relationships
• Strong matter management, including scoping, fee estimates and billing
• Confident building and growing client relationships
