Job summary

SPW Legal Recruitment is seeking a Property Lawyer to join its Brisbane team, offering exposure to sophisticated property matters including acquisitions, disposals, land development, and commercial transactions.

You will work alongside Partners and senior lawyers, developing client relationships and taking on increasing responsibility as you gain experience. Senior lawyers may mentor juniors and contribute to growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in property law including commercial property transactions and/or development work.
• Strong drafting, communication and client management skills.
• Ambitious with career growth and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of property matters including acquisitions, disposals, development, and conveyancing.
• Assist with land and property developments and commercial transactions; draft and review complex agreements.
• Develop client relationships and work closely with Partners and senior lawyers; mentor junior lawyers when appropriate.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Property Lawyer to join the firm's highly regarded Brisbane team.

Rather than being confined to a narrow stream of property work, you will gain exposure to a broad range of significant and complex matters, including major acquisitions and disposals, land and property developments, commercial transactions and conveyancing.

You will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, with the opportunity to develop strong client relationships and take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.

The team is open to lawyers across a range of experience levels. For more senior candidates, there is also scope to play a greater role in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

The Ideal Person

You will have experience in property law, ideally including commercial property transactions and/or development work, together with strong drafting, communication and client management skills.
