Job summary

You will lead procurement, draft and negotiate complex contracts, manage client relationships, mentor juniors and contribute to business development in a top-tier firm environment.

Experience: 5–7 years post-qualification in front-end construction or infrastructure, with exposure to PPP or government procurement.

Qualifications

• Between 5–7 years' post-qualification experience in front-end construction, projects or infrastructure.
• Experience gained within a top-tier or leading national firm.
• Strong technical legal skills and excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Exposure to major infrastructure, PPP or government procurement matters.
• The confidence to run matters independently and manage client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Advising on the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including PPPs and alliance arrangements.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex construction, project and outsourcing contracts.
• Acting for government, sponsors, financiers and contractors across the project lifecycle, from bid through to operation.
• Running matters and managing client relationships day-to-day, with direct client contact.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
• Contributing to business development and the growth of the practice.
