Job summary

Wolf & Williams is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team in Sydney. The role handles a mixture of insolvency, corporate, regulatory and commercial litigation, working closely with a senior partner on a broad range of clients including banks, private credit funds, insolvency practitioners, corporates and directors.

You will advise on corporate insolvency, distressed debt and workouts, run matters end-to-end, and mentor junior lawyers in a market-leading, top-tier firm.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years' PQE with a leading law firm or reputable boutique with in-depth dispute resolution experience across insolvency and related disputes.

Responsibilities

• Advising on corporate insolvency and restructuring matters, including voluntary administrations, liquidations and receiverships.
• Acting for secured and unsecured creditors, insolvency practitioners and company directors.
• Providing strategic advice on distressed debt, workouts and turnaround scenarios.
• Supporting corporate transactions with an insolvency or special situations overlay.
• Running broad corporate, commercial and regulatory disputes.
• Managing matters with a high degree of autonomy while mentoring junior lawyers.
