Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Global Arbitration and Construction Litigation Senior Associate to join our Sydney/Brisbane disputes team. The role focuses on international arbitration within energy, infrastructure, and mining sectors, handling high-stakes domestic and cross-border matters.

You will lead complex litigation, manage project disputes, and mentor junior lawyers while collaborating with a regional team to deliver client-focused outcomes and innovative dispute resolution strategies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience as a lawyer with international arbitration exposure in energy, construction and infrastructure disputes.
• Strong drafting, communication, and client-relations skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers while managing complex disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and project litigation, including international arbitration matters.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and coordinate with regional colleagues.
• Develop and articulate strategies to achieve client objectives with a commercial mindset.
