EMM Consulting Pty Limited (EMM) is a leading environmental consultancy focused on biodiversity and ESG services across Australia. We are seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead diverse projects and shape ecology solutions and biodiversity offset policy in Queensland.

You will work within a proactive, purpose-driven team, delivering field surveys, high-quality reports, and strategic guidance. The role is hybrid (Brisbane office and home) with field work across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Degree in ecology or related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant post-graduate experience.
• Experience leading ecological field surveys and reports.
• Experience with regional ecosystem surveys and BioCondition assessments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Valid unrestricted QLD driver's license.

Here's what you'll bring:

• A degree in ecology or a related discipline
• 7 years plus relevant post graduate experience, preferably gained within an ecological consultancy environment
• Extensive experience with planning and leading a variety of ecological field surveys
• Solid experience undertaking regional ecosystem surveys and BioCondition assessments
• Ability to research, prepare documentation and draw conclusions to support recommendations for review
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Great relationship skills including the ability to liaise with the team, clients and all relevant stakeholders
• Have a current/valid unrestricted QLD driver's license
