EMM Consulting Pty Limited (EMM) is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to lead diverse ecology projects across Queensland. You will helm field surveys, prepare reports and proposals, and contribute to biodiversity solutions across renewables, mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

• A degree in ecology or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant post-graduate experience, preferably in ecological consultancy.
• Extensive experience leading ecological field surveys.
• Experience with regional ecosystem surveys and BioCondition assessments.
• Ability to research, document and draw conclusions to support recommendations.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong relationship skills with team, clients and stakeholders.
• Current/valid unrestricted QLD driver’s license.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• A degree in ecology or a related discipline
• 7 years plus relevant post graduate experience, preferably gained within an ecological consultancy environment
• Extensive experience with planning and leading a variety of ecological field surveys
• Solid experience undertaking regional ecosystem surveys and BioCondition assessments
• Ability to research, prepare documentation and draw conclusions to support recommendations for review
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Great relationship skills including the ability to liaise with the team, clients and all relevant stakeholders
• Have a current/valid unrestricted QLD driver’s license
