Qualifications

• 12–18 years experience in strategic advisory, geopolitical risk, corporate intelligence, government affairs, policy, management consulting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Australian political, regulatory, business, and policy environment.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders within corporate, investment, government, or professional services environments.
• Experience working on international or cross-border issues, ideally with exposure to multiple global markets.
• Strong analytical judgement and the ability to turn complex issues into commercially relevant advice.
• Established network across Australian business, government, policy, or advisory circles.
• Strong client relationship skills, with evidence of contributing to business development and account growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and geopolitical advisory assignments for Australian corporate, investment, and government clients
• Advise clients on Australian political, policy, regulatory, reputational, and commercial developments
• Lead global and cross-border projects for Australian clients, drawing on the firm’s international network and capabilities
• Translate complex political, geopolitical, regulatory, and commercial developments into clear, decision-ready advice for senior stakeholders
• Lead and oversee strategic intelligence assignments, including market entry, stakeholder mapping, political and regulatory risk, and reputational assessments
• Build and maintain senior networks across Australian business, government, policy, and advisory communities
• Manage senior client relationships and identify opportunities to deepen and broaden existing engagements
• Contribute to business development, including originating opportunities, developing proposals, and participating in senior client discussions
