A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate in construction and infrastructure. This role offers a hybrid work model, exposure to significant projects, and a pathway to partnership. The ideal candidate will have front-end expertise, enjoy client interactions, and support junior lawyers' development. Competitive pay range of A$180,000 - A$200,000 per year.

Are you a Senior Associate in construction, infrastructure and/or projects who’s ready for the next step? This opportunity offers senior career progression, exposure to significant infrastructure and development matters, and a culture that values balance and professional growth.

The Opportunity:

Join a highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team advising on major infrastructure and front-end projects across a wide variety of sectors. You’ll act for developers, contractors, and all levels of government on complex and large-scale matters, with direct client contact and scope to take your career to the next level.

The Role:

• Draft and negotiate front-end construction and commercial agreements
• Advise on procurement models including construct only, D&C, collaborative contracting, PPPs/project finance, and O&M arrangements
• Prepare and review tender and contract documentation
• Advise on risk allocation, project delivery, and claims management
• Support clients across government, aged care and retirement living, education, water, residential, waste/resource recovery, and sporting facilities projects

You’re an experienced Senior Associate with strong front-end construction/projects expertise. You enjoy client engagement, business development (whilst business development is a focus of the role, there are no set targets), and mentoring junior lawyers.
