Job summary

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Adelaide Audit Practice. You will lead independent statutory audits for a range of entities, and contribute to high-quality audit work using Grant Thornton’s methodologies.

The role requires IFRS knowledge and CA/CPA qualification (or overseas equivalent), with a strong emphasis on client relationships, problem solving, and timely delivery in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies, proprietary companies, and not-for-profit entities.
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers.
• Identify and report on client financial risks.
• Expand analytical skills to examine clients’ financial statements and ensure compliance.
• Investigate difficult technical issues to improve client outcomes.
