Everyday Wealth in Brookvale on Sydney's Northern Beaches is seeking a motivated Associate Adviser ready to grow into a Financial Adviser. You’ll work with experienced advisers across the full financial planning process, gaining exposure to real client strategies from day one.

This newly created role emphasizes on-the-job development, mentoring, and a clear career pathway, with ongoing professional development, salary reviews and flexible work arrangements.

• Already has practical experience working within a financial planning practice.
• Experience working within an Australian financial planning business.
• Progress towards completing a relevant financial planning degree.

Responsibilities

• Research and strategy development.
• Financial modelling and analysis.
• Preparing Records of Advice (ROAs).
• Assisting with Statements of Advice (SOAs).

The Opportunity

This is a newly created role designed to support the continued growth of Everyday Wealth.

You’ll work directly alongside our experienced advisers, gaining exposure to the complete financial planning process rather than being limited to one small part of it.

From day one you’ll be involved in real client strategies, technical advice preparation and implementation while developing the knowledge and experience required to progress towards becoming a Financial Adviser.

This role is designed for someone who already has practical experience working within a financial planning practice and is ready to take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with our advice team, you’ll gain exposure across every stage of the advice process, including:

• Research and strategy development
• Financial modelling and analysis
• Preparing Records of Advice (ROAs)
• Assisting with Statements of Advice (SOAs)
• Coordinating implementation of advice recommendations
• Communicating with clients, accountants, solicitors, lenders, insurers and product providers
• Preparing client review documentation
• Supporting advisers during client meetings
• Progressively taking greater ownership of client relationships
• Contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes and technology

About You

We're looking for someone who already has practical experience working within a financial planning practice and wants to continue building their career.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience working within an Australian financial planning business
• A strong understanding of the end-to-end advice process
• Experience supporting Financial Advisers with strategy, research and implementation
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and proactive approach
• Excellent organisational skills
• Confidence working directly with clients and professional stakeholders
• A genuine passion for financial advice and helping clients achieve better outcomes

Experience That Would Be Highly Regarded

• Experience using Xplan or similar financial planning software
• Progress towards completing a relevant financial planning degree
• Understanding of ASIC regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
• Experience working with superannuation, insurance and investment implementation
