In this Senior Associate Third Party Risk Advisory role, you will:

• Provide third-party advisory support to ensure that NAB’s contracts have the necessary rigour and appropriateness to protect the bank.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide advice and guidance to the business to ensure third-party arrangements align with the Group Risk Appetite Statement.
• Support Relationship Managers and/or Technology Owners to build or remediate third-party controls.
• Communicate and promote best practices and consistency across the enterprise specific to third-party risk assessment activities.
• Support key stakeholders with the execution of processes related to third-party risk advisory activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Strategic Sourcing, Legal, and Group Security, to ensure alignment and consistency in information security and third-party risk management processes.

What you'll bring

• Proven relevant experience in technology risk management, technology risk audit, and/or operational risk management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including network security, data protection, and vulnerability management.
• Tertiary qualification in IT/IS/Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of control design, risk assessment, and assurance methodologies.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Inquisitive, analytical, critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
