Qualifications

• Mandatory: Minimum C Class driver's licence (non-restricted).
• Desirable: Knowledge/experience in project management methodologies.
• Desirable: Knowledge/experience in asset management across the public sector.
• Desirable: Experience with financial management systems (assets, AP, ledger) and maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate asset portfolio lifecycle, procurement, and asset condition reports.
• Interpret government and departmental policy to ensure governance and compliance.
• Oversee minor works projects, contracts and advisor engagements.
• Develop asset management plans, programs, and governance procedures.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance and asset schedules.
• Review tenders and contracts to ensure best value and project delivery.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to inform investment planning.
• Prepare timely advice, reports and submissions for decision making.
